In the same way that vertical panels on the same plane can be joined with a silicone joint, a glass to glass corner can be treated in exactly the same way. The two units would be stepped to form an interlocking corner and the whole join filled with silicone (usually black). As in all specialist work, there are alternatives to this detail and they would include an ultra violet bonded glass corner, or exchanging the usual silicone spacer bar for a tube of glass.
