Laminated glass consists of two or more panes of glass with a layer (or layers) of reinforcing material between each pane. The interlayer can be made using a pourable resin or a pvb sheet. The layers of laminate glass are permanently bonded together to give greater strength even when broken and can produce enhanced solar or acoustic properties if required. The individual properties of each pane of glass are retained when laminated together.
