Forget wood, tiles, carpets and laminates - glass is the latest style statement for floors.
Strong enough to be walked and stood on, they not only look dramatic, they also aid the passage of light between different levels. Clear or sandblasted glass gives different finishes - either transparent or opaque - and low iron glass means there is no green tinge found in most glass products.
