Cantifix structural glazing experts

The Designer - November 2008

The ambitious and expensive ways in which glass has been utilised in large commercial buildings is now being replicated on a smaller - and more affordable - scale in the home.
The difference has been made possible by the technological advances that have given glass the tougher, structural properties that it did n't have before, opening new opportunities for shedding a lot more light on pretty much any project.
One company that has been at the forefront of the evolution of structural glass is London-based Cantifix, which started out in 1986 fulfilling a need in the London housing market for purpose-built bespoke conservatories to fit into small urban gardens.

"Virtually all our contracts come through either repeat business or referrals", says Director, Charles Sharman. "This means that there is often an existing appreciation of design issues."
