Cantifix Architectural Glazing

Cantifix project featured in Evening Standard

A project installed by Cantifix in conjunction with the architect, Leandro Rotondi appeared in The Evening Standard, My Home supplement dated 06.07.05.
The Article "House of Mirrors" focuses on Yvonne Gold's home in South East London. We installed a modern conservatory with a sliding/folding door system and glass roof. The Architect says "Conceived as a glass box held down by a broad metal staple, this conservatory measuring approximately 3x3m shuns conventional detailing with respect to eaves, gutter and jamb and prefers to borrow from the automobile industry". "A trim similar to that found around a classic car's windscreen is used at both jamb and head to frame the opening - keeping rain water clear of it".

Although the interview focus's on the main rooms of her house, our conservatory was described as 'one of the property's most stunning features'.
