Balustrades
Product Details
There are a multitude of regulations and recommendations relating to the use of glass balustrades.
For domestic uses these are far simpler and usually only relate to the height of the glass above finished floor level. In general terms an internal balustrade must be 900mm above finished floor and externally the height must be 1100mm. Sometimes an internal balustrade will also have to be 1100mm high, depending on the potential fall.
There are also regulations that relate to the use of laminated glass and handrails, especially for buildings that the public might use.
Due to the changeable nature of the regulations it is not possible to list them all and referral to Cantifix on an individual basis is advised.
