In many ways this is the traditional type of door, which has been fitted to conservatories for many years.
If the requirement is mainly for access then a single or double casement door is the simplest way of achieving this. This simplicity is also another good reason for their inclusion in a scheme.
It is possible for a casement door to be very wide and if it is pivoted, rather than hinged, it can be up to 2 metres across. However using a door of this size must be carefully considered as it is liable to forces for which it wasn't designed. Ultimately a door has to function as a door and this is sometimes difficult when all parameters are exceeded.
