Frameless Sliding Door

Product Details

Cantifix have introduced the Skyframe doors to their range of products, as the answer to the demand for slimmer sight-lines and larger panels of glass. These doors can be installed up to a maximum height of 4000mm by 1500mm wide per sliding pane or 3000mm high by 2000mm wide, larger fixed panels are available.
The Skyframe door works on the principle that the glass itself gives rigidity to the frame and not the other way round, as in most sliding door systems.
This means that all the top and bottom framework of the sliding section is concealed below the finished floor and above the finished ceiling, leaving uninterrupted glass.
The junction between the sliding panels can also be kept to a minimum as the glass is the structural element and not the frame. Where the glass is fixed rather than sliding within the system, the junctions between panels can be installed with a silicone joint instead of framework.
The thickness and depth of this vertical section will be dependent on the height of the doors and is typically 25mm wide by 62mm deep up to a maximum thickness of 34mm wide by 80mm deep. The Skyframe doors are the result of extensive research and development and are undoubtedly the new generation of sliding doors.
