Cantifix have introduced the PureGlaze range of casement doors and windows to complement their core business of structural glazing.
The contradiction of a totally glass structure incorporating a framed door system, has always been obvious. However the modern day requirements for a door are more than just the fact it opens and closes. It must also be weather proof and secure, and this involves frame work.
The PureGlaze door has an aluminium frame within the double glazed unit and this allows all the usual weathering and locking systems to be incorporated behind the glass.
The glass itself is back painted, in any one of the 150 standard colours, to conceal the frame behind. This really is as close as you can come to a "glass door" without reverting to single glazing.
The PureGlaze is available as a pivot door up to a maximum height of 3000mm and a maximum width of 1000mm at this stage, if you are trying for larger sizes this may also be possible. It can also be combined with another PureGlaze door to form a double opening or frameless fixed panels.
