Project Details

Sometimes the physical foot print of a house can only be increased by a small amount, but the impression of extra space will have greater benefits.
The roof of this glass facade is less than one metre wide, but the feeling within the room is of a much larger increase to the space.
By including a flush threshold the floor is able to run from inside to outside at the same height and the material used is also consistent. During those warm, sunny days the large sliding doors can be slid back and the garden instantly becomes part of the usable living space.
