Living in the country does not exclude the desire for a modern extension and, for many reasons, it may encourage it.
You choose a particular house for the views it offers and the last thing you want is a framed structure distracting from these views.
The extension includes a new kitchen on the ground floor and a bedroom above. Both these rooms have been designed to make the best possible use of the surroundings.
The folding doors in the kitchen have a flush threshold and when opened fully the outside patio becomes part of the internal space. The views in the bedroom speak for themselves.
