Project Details
This large glass box extends the usable space within the house, whilst also bringing the outside into the decor.
The structural glass roof spans about three metres and therefore requires support along its length. In this case glass beams were used to maintain the lightness of the structure, as well as for design impact.
The side of the glass box has a raised area that connects two levels within the house and the casement door provides access to the garden. There is also a small slot window included above the doors for secure ventilation.
