Project Details
This is the sort of extension that anyone who lives in a terraced house will recognise.
The passageway between the houses is useless for all practical purposes, but can be turned into vital extra internal space.
By removing the side wall of the old extension the extra one metre of width becomes crucial to the new contemporary living area. The way we lead our lives these days means that the kitchen has changed its role from the cooking area, to the place where family and friends congregate to share their lives.
By also removing the rear wall and installing folding doors the garden can be incorporated into this living space as well.
