Palace Road Project Details

At this project in leafy Surrey, we helped the client to create a light, airy and beautifully detailed rear extension. A huge 15 metres worth of sliding doors, and 4 metres worth of folding doors were fitted, creating an impressive and dramatic facade.

The folding doors open on a corner, minimising any obstruction of the view. This means that it is possible to open up almost the entire rear of the house, allowing light to flood in, and life to flow out effortlessly into the sunken patio and garden.

The height of the sliding doors and the width of the individual panels add to the feeling of connection with the outdoors. Further natural light is bought in to the extension by the cleverly placed slot glazing, and by a series of rooflights that were supplied by Cantifix Direct to keep costs down.
