Project Details

The inventive use of timber walls and wooden slats means this glass enclosure appears to grow out of the garden, rather than being part of the house.
Glass beams have been included to provide support for the glass roof and these add to the confusion of shadows and reflections. The doors fold right back to further blur the boundaries between the garden and the house.
Clearly this glass extension provides extra living space, but the statement it makes is greater than the purpose it performs.
