Unicorn Theatre Project Details

Cantifix were very pleased to be involved in the construction of the new Childrens Theatre on the south bank of the Thames, just below Tower Bridge. The Contractor Mansells and the Architects, set out to create an exciting internal space that would not intimidate or swamp the clientele.

Natural light floods in through the multitude of structurally glazed slots and, more specifically, the three glass boxes that are connected to the restaurant, a rehearsal space and one of the meeting rooms.

The external skin of the building is a combination of black brick, copper, tiles and insulated rendering. This change of materials presented many challenges to the detailing of the Cantifix glazing, eventhough the overall expression is one of simplicity.
