Coronavirus Policy

We hope you, your families and colleagues are keeping well and safe.

Here at Cantifix we are striving to keep things as normal as possible in these very strange times. Our first priority is and has been, to protect our Cantifix Team members, our customers and our commercial partners and suppliers whilst continuing to provide as full a service as possible.

Steps were taken in March to ensure equipment and communications were available to our staff to enable them to work at home wherever possible. Our Sales and Design teams have been working flat out whilst mastering new Zoom and Skype skills. Some of our sites  have continued throughout the pandemic and we are seeing a gradual return to other projects on  a daily basis. Similarly, some of our suppliers have continued to trade throughout and access to further supplies is increasing. Some of our Fabrication Team are working at our premises in Hendon. For the time being, in accordance with Government advice, all of those who can work from home will continue to do so, whilst still providing the service you would expect from us.

To ensure the safety of our staff and you, our clients, full Risk Assessments have been carried for all of our activities, and as a result we have issued updated Safe Working methods for all of our staff. We have also introduced a number of measures which may affect you.

Safe on Our Premises

We can now allow visits to our showroom in North London. Please contact our Sales team on 020 8203 6203 if you would like to arrange a visit. We have introduced more regular and intensive cleaning regimes, hand sanitising stations and supplies of PPE are available for anyone entering our premises. Our staff will also have social distancing measures in place during your visit.

Safe in Your Home

Essential maintenance for emergencies has continued throughout. We are now addressing those non-urgent issues you have advised us of.

To protect you and other residents at your property, we would be grateful for your co-operation if we need to visit your property.

  • We will check with you that no one in the building has or has had the virus or is displaying any symptonms. If you suspect someone is unwell, please let us know and we will re-arrange the visit.
  • Access to the area requiring attention should be as direct as possible and via an outside route if available..
  • We will provide our staff with PPE  including masks, gloves, hand sanitiser and anti-bacterial wipes.
  • Contact with our staff should be kept to a minimum. Please ensure only one person allows them to enter and communicates with them. All other residents/occupants should remain in another part of the building behind closed doors.
