SGA Categories 2023

To enter, simply select a category, fill in your details and a bit of information about the project, and upload some images.

All entries will be considered by the judging panel, and shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend the event.

The categories available for entry this year are:

1. One to Watch

Recognising up-and-coming talent within the construction world. This Award aims to honour and showcase the talent, skill and dedication of emerging architects, designers and engineers starting out in the industry- and to acknowledge the vital role they play in the success of projects.

2. Sustainable Solutions

If you've worked on a project that's been designed with the environment in mind, select this category. This award aims to recognise the new and innovative ways in which we can create structures that are sympathetic towards the environment around them, and celebrate a step towards a more sustainable future for the industry as a whole.

3. Glorious Ambition

Previously 'Absurd Concepts (That Actually Happened)'. This award is a testament to the extraordinary power of imagination and the unwavering determination to bring even the most outlandish ideas to fruition.

4. Best Laid Plans

Previously 'Amazing Concepts (That Will Never Be Built)'. This award is a celebration of abstract thinking and boundary pushing. Whilst these ideas are a while off being realised, we hope that one day they are!

5. Extraordinary Endeavours

For innovative solutions to particularly challenging projects. This award is for the most complex project undertaken this year- whether it be a difficult design brief, the need to innovate a one-of-a-kind system, or a particularly challenging installation.

6. Limitless Living presented by Sky-Frame

'A View Not A Window'. This award celebrates projects that skilfully merge indoor and outdoor spaces, fostering a harmonious balance and promoting overall mental, physical, and emotional wellbeing.
