The SGAs are back!

This year’s event will be held at the Sky-Frame showroom on Britton Street, London, on the 28th of November 2024. Entries open from the 2nd of October. Please submit your project(s) for entry via the form below.

SGA Categories 2024

To enter, simply select a category, fill in your details and a bit of information about the project, and upload some images.

 

All entries will be considered by the judging panel, and shortlisted entrants will be invited to attend the event.

 

The categories available for entry this year are:

 

1. Glorious Ambitions Award


  • This award celebrates visionary projects that push the boundaries of architectural design through bold and innovative uses of glass. It honours those who transform ambitious ideas into extraordinary structures.
  • What to Submit: Projects featuring glass as a key element, showcasing creative and daring applications, such as innovative façades, roofs, or transparent structures.
 

2. NextGen Award


  • The NextGen Award highlights emerging professionals and/or students working in architecture, interior design, and engineering and more who creatively use glass in forward-thinking designs. This category showcases fresh perspectives and the potential of new talent in architectural glazing.
  • What to Submit: Innovative projects that incorporate glass in unique and impactful ways, emphasizing originality and creativity.
 

3. Sustainable Living Award


  • This award honours projects that integrate sustainable and energy-efficient glazing solutions, enhancing environmental performance and occupant well-being.
  • What to Submit: Projects utilizing eco-friendly glazing technologies, such as energy-efficient windows or solar control glass, that contribute to sustainability and quality of life.
 

4. Shattered Success Award


  • The Shattered Success Award celebrates projects where significant challenges were overcome, leading to a successful outcome. It recognizes resilience and problem-solving in the face of adversity.
  • What to Submit: Projects where glass played a central role and faced major setbacks, highlighting the journey from failure to success through innovative solutions
